Biting The Bullet

Peace roses from my garden, a gift from Kerry R and Jane B 12-14 years ago!

July 17th 2011...nothing special about today other than I'm going to have a go at blogging in order to create a diary of memories for my children and grandchildren in the coming years.

I spend a great deal of time on-line moderating and posting at the Down To Earth Forums and would like to preserve my own record of my modest craft, cooking and gardening and my travels overseas. Of special importance are my childhood memories, growing up in Morecambe, coming to Australia at 11yrs of age and my teenage years in Kwinana.

Bear with me?

  1. Hi Sue, lovely to see you blogging.

  2. Hi Pippa thank you so will hopefully be a great record for the children and grandchildren and who knows who is to come into our family? Imagine if we could read our own Grandmother's blog?

  3. Nice one Mum. I've been saying it for years. I am so grateful that I've have the privilege to get to know Nana as an adult. As kids, she did all those Nanaly things and loved us dearly but as an adult we have been able to learn a whole new side of her; one that is truer to herself. It's all the little things - her sense of humor and the like.

This blog is going to serve the same purpose and will be a wonderful keepsake for years to come.
